Here’s our resident kayak researcher, Chris Minnick, going over his fully rigged Hobie iTrek 9. This lightweight inflatable is completely kitted out with a Garmin LiveScope system and the brand new Garmin Force Current. After a few months of serious time on San Diego lakes, he’s gathered real data on battery life, screen size, power draw, and how to actually use these tools to catch more fish.
