Jeff Mariani of Cedros Kayak Fishing has put together one of the coolest and most unique fishing experiences one could have. Last Summer my dad, Ron, and I flew down to Cedros Island with Jeff and 3 other anglers to kayak fish the remote island 60 miles off the Baja Coast. The travel was quick and easy and after the short plane ride we were on the island right after lunch time. Jeff's crew members on the island had our Hobie Fishing Kayaks ready to go and we were on the water fishing the same day. Were not even on the water for an hour before Jeff put us on the 30+ pound grade yellowtail. An afternoon of dozens of big Calicos with a few Yellowtail mixed in and we back to Jeff's Casita for dinner. Homestyle Mexican cooking and ice cold Mexican Cokes were what was served and we had a hard time remembering a meal we enjoyed more.
